Dec 7, 2020 · Newrez acquired my loan from Loancare in Sept 2023. My last payment to Loancare for Oct 2023 was in process, Newrez received that payment and credited the payment. In January I got notice that my credit score was degraded from 825 to 815 and is now 808 because both Loancare and Newrez were reporting my mortgage balance. Shellpoint & NewRez are both impossible to work with. They lose paperwork and then blame the client even when the client has proof of submission.
